How To Let Go Of Your Midlife Expectations
Although it is easier said than done, the minute you release your expectations of others, you no longer allow yourself to be disappointed by their actions or inactions.
We expect so much of people – our spouses, kids, family, friends, colleagues, and strangers. In this short and sweet episode, I share the importance of releasing your expectations of others to open yourself up to new people coming into your life who need to be there and hear what you have to say. Also, it saves a lot of angst and energy.
Release expectations of everyone, and you'll likely never be disappointed. If you get a little bummed, it's natural; I share tips on navigating disappointment so you can quickly rebound and get back to the essential tasks and your life.
