As women, we can do better supporting each other and be more intentional about helping all women rise, we just have to make the effort. That’s why episode 21 of The Jen Marples Show is about women supporting women!
In this episode of The Jen Marples Show, I’m sharing the importance of understanding that as women, when one of us rises, we all rise together. I review actionable steps you can take right now to better support those inside and outside of your network.
Here are five ways you can start to support other women today:
- Give young girls the tools to be inclusive and grow their circle at a young age.
- Change the subject when others are taking part in gossip or judgemental conversations.
- Go out of your way to support your friends on their endeavors.
- Lead relationships with love and not judgment.
- Lift up women that are outside of your traditional network, ESPECIALLY if you come from a place of privilege.
Society tries so hard to pit women against one another as it keeps us in fear, lack, and competition but we can change this script as long as we remember that we are stronger together.
